Israel is reportedly preparing to continue its military campaign against Iran for another one to two weeks. According to reports, Israeli forces plan to target additional military and regime-linked sites across Iran.

The escalation follows several days of heavy airstrikes. Reports claim the Israeli Air Force has already dropped more than 5,000 bombs on Iranian targets since the conflict began.

Explosions Reported Across Iran

On Thursday, strong explosions rocked Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas. Reports said the blasts occurred near Bandar-e Bahonar, close to the IRGC’s First Naval Zone and the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, residents in eastern Tehran also reported hearing loud explosions overnight. Shockwaves were felt in several parts of the capital city.

Additional strikes reportedly hit the Kurdish cities of Sanandaj, Saqqez, and Bukan. Iranian officials claimed attacks have affected more than 150 cities since the fighting started.

Iran Launches Fresh Missile Attacks

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced a new round of retaliatory strikes against Israeli and U.S. targets in the region.

Iran also fired fresh missiles toward Israel on Thursday. As a result, air-raid sirens sounded in several areas, including Tel Aviv.

However, Israeli authorities said they received no immediate reports of casualties. Israel’s military added that air-defense systems intercepted incoming missiles successfully.

Trump Makes Strong Remarks

U.S. President Donald Trump described Iran as “out of control” during remarks about the conflict.

He claimed the strikes aimed to stop Iran from attacking Israel first. Trump also said the United States currently holds a strong strategic position in the conflict.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials stated that American forces destroyed more than 20 Iranian naval vessels during ongoing operations.

Regional Tensions Continue to Rise

The conflict has increased tensions across the Middle East and disrupted global shipping routes.

Several shipping companies have suspended operations through the Strait of Hormuz due to security concerns. In addition, the Omani navy rescued 24 crew members from a container ship damaged in the region.

Military analysts warn that continued escalation could affect global energy supplies, oil prices, and international trade in the coming days.
