Commercial operations officially commenced at Noida International Airport on Monday as the first scheduled flight landed at the newly inaugurated aviation hub in Jewar. IndiGo flight 6E-2278 departed from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow and touched down at Noida International Airport at 7:55 a.m., marking the airport’s first commercial arrival. The launch follows the airport’s inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 28. The return service, IndiGo flight 6E-2279, is set to depart from Noida International Airport at 6:55 p.m. and arrive in Lucknow at 8:00 p.m., establishing the first regular commercial air link from the new airport.
