The CJP protest in Delhi intensified on Monday after CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained by Delhi Police during the party’s “Sansad Chalo” march. The protest coincided with the opening day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
Police deployed heavy security across central Delhi to prevent demonstrators from marching towards Parliament. Barricades were placed at key locations, and security personnel monitored the protest route.
Dipke’s Detention Sparks Tension
According to the CJP, Dipke was taken into custody near the protest site. Party leaders claimed police also used tear gas and mild force to disperse groups attempting to move towards Parliament.
Delhi Police have not confirmed all of the allegations made by the protesters. However, authorities said security measures were tightened because of restrictions in the high-security zone around Parliament.

The demonstration is part of the larger movement led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Protesters are demanding action over alleged examination paper leaks and have called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Government and Police on Alert
Traffic restrictions remained in place across several parts of central Delhi. Authorities advised commuters to avoid affected routes because of the protest and enhanced security arrangements.
Meanwhile, CJP leaders said they would continue their campaign despite the detention of senior members. They have also expressed willingness to hold talks with the government if meaningful discussions take place.
