Educator and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has entered the 17th day of his indefinite hunger strike, triggering growing concern over his health. Supporters, public figures and political leaders have appealed to him to end the fast as his condition continues to weaken.
According to the latest health updates shared by organisers, Wangchuk has lost more than 8 kg since the protest began. Medical reports also indicate low blood sugar levels and increasing physical weakness.
